What to Expect
Class Size
- In-Person Classes are limited to four artists in the gallery for semi-private lessons.
- Online classes are limited to eight artists in the channel using the Discord App.
- Class size optimizes quality time with each student.
Content
- After a few fun exercises for colour theory, drawing, composition, etc., you choose your subject matter with approval, and you will learn all the techniques for oil painting.
- Begin with basic painting and develop your style by trying different painting options, from the Old Masters Methods and Impressionists to abstract, etc.
- We begin with a simple image and limited colour palette, on 11×14 canvas.
- Mentoring to completion will give you a completed painting of your choice in different styles of brushwork and palette knife work with heavy paint for a sculpted effect.

Special Event
ANNOUNCING THE COMPLETION OF THE POPPY PROJECT!
I’m pleased to announce that the Poppy Project is officially completed! My adult art students and I were happy to donate our time and expenses for the six months it took to produce the mural.
I assigned each artist a space and a painting from the Old Masters, such as Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Cezanne etc., to be converted to fit the mural so it can form a poppy from Georgia O’Keefe collection.
It was a complicated venture and we donated all of the funds to the Veterans.
